Fees and Billing
Our fees fall within the prevailing fee schedules for services in this area and are determined by the severity or complexity of the problem. The billing office is prepared to help you determine what is covered by your insurance carrier and to arrange a payment schedule if necessary. Please do not hesitate to discuss our fees if you have any question.
Payment for services reimbursable under Major Medical or services not covered by medical insurance is expected at the time of services. In addition, health insurance co-payments should be made following treatment. We accept cash, checks or credit cards and will provide you with a receipt for submission to your major medical carrier.
Insurance
We participate in all Highmark Blue Shield programs and accept assignment from Medicare. We also participate in most managed care plans, health maintenance organizations (HMO’s) and preferred provider organizations (PPO’s) including:

If your insurance is a managed care plan or HMO, it is likely you will need a referral from your Primary Care Physician in order to be treated by a specialist. It is the patients responsibility to obtain this authorization prior to arriving at the appointment.
